Recently, rumors resurfaced claiming that Samsung plans to enter the EV manufacturing business. The confusion stems from Samsung’s expansion in Europe through its automotive subsidiary, Harman.

Through Harman, Samsung acquired the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) business of Germany-based automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen.
